Practice a complete general medical history with a realistic virtual patient who only answers what you ask.
How to use this prompt
Copy and paste the prompt into any AI tool, such as ChatGPT. The virtual patient will begin with only their name, age, and chief complaint. You should then ask one question at a time. Do not request a diagnosis while taking the history. Focus on covering all essential sections: chief complaint, history of present illness, past medical history, medications, allergies, family history, and social history. Once you have completed the history, type "End History" to switch the AI to examiner mode. It will then ask for a summary and differential diagnoses, and provide a comprehensive evaluation of your performance.
